no matter where you go… youth pastors all seem to be indebted to one guy… Doug Fields.  Ever since the “Purpose Driven Youth Ministry” phenomenon… youth pastors all over America {or other countries, for that matter} have been trying to pull off the “how to _____ without __________” type of message… or using tables in their programs… or wearing bowling shirts or flower laden hawaiian shirts to channel Doug in their youth ministries.  We would never have been able to make in youth ministry without him… {just an FYI… Doug Fields does not annoy me… the fact that people follow him like a rock star does.}
